13 PEAKS TRADING COMPANY LOGOTYPE
This veteran owned and operated company in central Arkansas sells disc golf equipment and glass pipes. The logotype concept was curated by the owner and designed to consider application as a "sticker" logo.

THE CONCEPT
This project was given to me with full concept in mind. I was tasked with further designing it to reach its full potential. The full color logo would need to be applicable to merchandise, while simplified black and white versions were used for laser engraving products and print media use.

THE FINAL LOGO
The mountain and tree line were kept (with 13 individual silhouettes). A thick stroke creates a bold statement, and "Peaks" is enlarged to bypass the sides of the mountain for depth. A serif typeface breaks up the geometric stiffness of the mountain to balance out the logo as a whole.

BEYOND THE STORE
Serving Central Arkansas
13 Peaks is active in the Arkansas disc golf community. They sponsor many of the tournaments and disc golfers in the region. The logo can be seen as a car wrap, found on tournament jerseys and stuck onto the bumpers and rear windows of vehicles. It has even been tattooed on an arm!

Within a year of opening, the logo now exists in multiple states and countries. All customers receive the classic 13 Peaks Trading Company sticker with every purchase both online and in-store. Disc golfers are encouraged to photograph themselves next to basket #13 during tournaments and constantly send in their photos. Basket #13 of many popular courses have been "zapped" with the logo.
