THE TEXAS ZOO WILD DOLPHIN PROJECT
THE PROJECT
The Wild Dolphin project focuses on bottle nose and pink river dolphin research, so I wanted to keep them within the logo. Inspired by the original, I created a design that was more simple and streamlined.

A separable icon that can be paired with text
The dolphin icon was simplified into a circle shape representing their impact on Earth, and the renewal fueled by conservation efforts. The type chosen includes traditional serifs, adding a scientific presence to the overall logo.
DOLPHIN EXCURSION
An educational excursion in Port Lavaca was provided free to ages 12-17 aboard the Texas Floating Classroom. Children were able to learn about dolphin research techniques and identification as well as identify small salt water specimens safely caught and released for educational purposes!
